LGBTIQA+ Staff Leadership Program
For current and aspiring leaders in the LGBTIQA+ community at Monash University.
This bespoke program for staff is offered because queer leadership matters. It is proudly sponsored by the Staff Equity, Diversity and Inclusion team, Monash HR and delivered by Dr Bree Gorman (they/them), a proud member of the LGBTIQA+ community, and the Managing Director of Bree Gorman Consulting.
The workshop is designed to empower queer leaders to explore what effective leadership looks like for them and how their lived experience shapes the way they lead. It uses a group coaching structure that focuses on psychological safety, connection and strengths-based development rather than a one-size-fits-all leadership model. While queerness is a shared entry point, participants bring many different identities and life experiences.
Part 1: In-Person Workshop: Tuesday 9 June 2026, 10am-1pm, Clayton campus
Part 2: Online Follow-up Session: Tuesday 25 August 2026, 10am-11am, online only
