Monash University forges strong links with France's leading research institution

Monash University recently hosted a delegation from the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), France's leading public scientific research organisation. CNRS, a global leader in scientific research, boasts a €4 billion budget, 33,000 employees, and 1,100 research laboratories worldwide. The organisation's commitment to interdisciplinary research aligns seamlessly with Monash University's focus on addressing the challenges of the age for the betterment of our communities locally and globally through the Strategic Plan, Impact 2030.

The visit allowed Monash and CNRS representatives to discuss current collaborations, identify potential synergies, and explore future avenues for joint research.
