Partnerships in China

Monash University has a long-standing tradition of collaborating with leading higher education institutions in China. Through partnerships with esteemed universities such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Wuhan University, and Central South University, we have developed strong academic relationships that drive innovative and diverse educational initiatives. These collaborations enable students to benefit from cross-institutional learning experiences. Through these programs, students have the opportunity to complete their courses across two institutions, gaining exposure to different academic environments and cultural perspectives.

Monash University has several China Ministry of Education-approved partnerships providing transnational education programmes at the bachelor's degree level and above. Detailed information about these programs can be accessed on the China Ministry of Education's website (in Chinese).

Students from our over 30 partner institutions in China can complete part of their studies at their home university while also undertaking a portion of their coursework at Monash University's campuses in Melbourne. Upon successful completion of the programs, students will graduate with a globally recognised Monash University degree, equipping them with the skills and qualifications to excel in a competitive global workforce.
