Celebrating 10 Years of Partnership

Stuart & Margaret

As part of the Monash Warwick Alliance 10-year celebrations, Professor Stuart Croft, Vice-Chancellor and President, University of Warwick welcomed Professor Margaret Gardner AC, President and Vice-Chancellor, Monash University, to Warwick in April. Their discussions focussed on developing and enriching the Alliance over the next 10 years. Looking to the next decade, the Alliance will be even more ambitious, innovative and collaborative.

In May the Alliance brought together successful key events at both Monash and Warwick Campuses to celebrate 10 years of partnership between our two institutions. Both institutions hosted on campus events and activities to mark the 10-year anniversary of this strategic partnership. The events focused on high impact research collaborations and provided students with an opportunity to learn more about the Alliance and what it has to offer.

On 18 May Monash University hosted a funding workshop and welcomed 30 researchers and academics who had the opportunity to hear about successful research collaborations from Dr Sue Kleve and Professor Sascha Becker. Attendees also heard more about the new funding schemes available through the Alliance. On 19 May the Student Opportunities Fair welcomed approx. 100 students who were able to find out more about the amazing opportunities the Alliance offers.

On 17 May, the University of Warwick marked 10 years of collaboration with their Alliance Showcase and Student Opportunities Fair. Attended by academics, professional staff and students, they celebrated the successes and value of this enduring partnership.

Thank you to all our Monash and Warwick staff and students who contributed to the events and joined us to celebrate this milestone.
