Professor Carol HodgsonEarly interventions to improve the quality of survival after critical illness

Carol is Deputy Director of the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre (ANZIC-RC) and a senior physiotherapist in ICU at the Alfred Hospital.

Dr Emma RidleyGeneration of high quality, clinically relevant knowledge to inform global nutrition practice during critical illness

Emma is a Senior Research Fellow and lead of the Nutrition Program at the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre (ANZIC-RC).

Professor Erica WoodNew knowledge and research capacity to improve transfusion outcomes in Australia and internationally

Erica is a Transfusion Medicine Specialist, and Head of the Transfusion Research Unit.

Professor John McNeil AOExtending disability-free survival among older Australians

Our former Head of School, John is the Sir John Monash Distinguished Professor at Monash University and co-principal investigator of the joint US-Australia NIH-funded ASPREE trial of low-dose aspirin in the elderly.


Associate Professor Deborah GlassCancer and Mortality among Queensland Coal Mine Workers

Deborah joined Monash in 1998 and works in the field of exposure assessment for epidemiology. She is part of the Monash Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health (MonCOEH).


Professor Rory WolfeBetter health through better trials: A national network to develop and implement innovative clinical trials methodology

Rory has been a biostatistician at Monash University since 2000 and contributes to a wide range of epidemiological, public health and clinical research studies. Rory is part of the School's Biostatistics Unit and the Biostatistics Consulting Platform.

Professor Helen SkouterisCentre of Research Excellence in Health in Preconception and Pregnancy: Prevention of maternal obesity

Helen Skouteris is the Monash Warwick Alliance Joint Professor of Healthcare Improvement and Implementation Science at Monash University and Head of MCHRI's Healthcare Improvement and Implementation Program.

Professor Helena TeedeCentre of Research Excellence in Women in Reproductive Health

Helena is Director of the Monash Centre for Health Research Implementation (MCHRI), an Endocrinologist at Monash Health, and Executive Director of Monash Partners Academic Health Science Centre.
