Historical parking infringement refunds for eligible claimants

As announced on 17 March 2021, the University has voluntarily decided to refund historical parking fines to eligible claimants. The University has made this decision even though it remains of the view that it has at all times acted lawfully in its management of parking fines on its campuses.

Refund scheme process

  • If you requested a review of a parking infringement notice between 1 July 2006 and 31 December 2019 and that review was unsuccessful, you may be eligible for a refund.
  • To claim a refund please complete this online form. As part of the application process, claimants will need to provide their personal details (name, address, email address, photo ID and bank account details) and either their parking infringement number or vehicle registration details.
  • Monash expects that processing of refund payments will commence from mid-April.
