Managing your work health

To help us thrive at work it is important to consider work health and how different areas of your environment, your team and your work can impact work health.

Here are some things you can do to increase healthy work practices:

  • Volunteer health and wellbeing ideas in your workplace which may also be of interest to others.
  • Offer ideas to enhance your environment so that it is safe, inclusive, diverse, flexible and enabling.
  • Ensure your conduct and behaviour is ethical, responsible, caring, values driven and adaptive to circumstances.  Encourage others to be the same.
  • Develop strong relationships with your supervisor, colleagues and broader team which are professional, collegial, open and focused on working together to better Monash.
  • Ensure you are clear on your job and its scope.
  • Engage in work which is a good fit for your skills and aligned with your values.
  • Keep learning and developing.
