Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) is one of the famous institutions of higher learning with the longest history and reputation in China and abroad. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of China and jointly built with Shanghai Municipality. After 125 years of unremitting efforts, SJTU has become a domestic first-class and internationally renowned university, and further defined the vision on constructing a “comprehensive, innovative and international” world-class university.

The Faculty of Arts has established the following Double Masters programs with SJTU:

Double Master program with the School of International and Public Affairs at SJTU, in International Relations
Double Master program with the school of Communications at SJTU, in Strategic Communications Management

The Faculty of Science has established Double Masters programs with the China-UK Low Carbon College at SJTU, Double Master program in Environment and Sustainability, and Green and Sustainable Technologies.

Students participating in the programs will study at both Monash and SJTU for one year, and be granted a Master’s degree from each university.
