Meter parking
All of our campuses have meter parking areas which can be used by visitors, staff and students.
There are three ways to pay for your parking:
- Pay-by-app with OPark
- One-time payment via web browser, or
- At a parking meter.
Please check our campus maps for the locations of designated meter parking areas (Clayton, Caulfield, Peninsula, Parkville). These are indicated in a pink colour.
If you are a Monash student or staff member, please refer to the parking information on our Staff and students page for information on parking in permit areas on campus.
Pay-by-App
The easiest way to pay for parking is to use the OPark app. You are in control to start and stop your parking sessions, so you only need to pay for the time you park.
If you don't have a smartphone, you can also visit the website or register by phone.
One-time payment
If you are only attending campus once and don't want to create an OPark account, payment can be made by scanning the QR codes on the OPark signage in the car parks. Follow these steps for one-time payment:
- Scan the QR code on OPark signs in the car park.
- Enter your vehicle registration details.
- Select the duration of time you require.
- Complete your payment.
- Download your invoice from the payment confirmation screen.
Pay at a parking meter
As an alternative to using OPark, you can pay for parking at a meter. These are located in the N1 and SE3 car parks at Clayton, and the N1 car park at Peninsula.
Our parking meters are cashless and accept cards only.
The meters record your vehicle registration number, so you do not need to display a ticket on your dashboard.
