The Melbourne Experiment
The Melbourne Experiment is a landmark interdisciplinary research collaboration to study the effects of the COVID-19 restrictions on key activities and elements of the urban environment before, during and after the COVID-19 shutdown.

World Mosquito Program
The World Mosquito Program is protecting thousands of people around the world from mosquito-borne diseases, using a safe natural bacteria to reduce the number of people contracting mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue and yellow fever.

Revitalising Informal Settlements and their Environments (RISE)
RISE is an action-research program in both health and environment, with the goal to provide clean water and sanitation for people across the Pacific and improve their environments.

The Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute
The Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute (BDI) is changing the rules in the fight against disease, including COVID-19. Home to more than 700 researchers and 200 international research collaborators, BDI is one of the largest and highest quality research institutes in the southern hemisphere.

Monash Sustainable Development Institute
Monash Sustainable Development Institute brings together the very best of the best in research to focus on large-scale, interdisciplinary projects that address global issues aligned to the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Building 4.0 CRC
Monash joins 23 partners for the $131M research project, Building 4.0 CRC, aimed at transforming Australia’s building industry for a tech-enabled, collaborative future where buildings are not only better, but faster, cheaper and safer.

Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health
Monash’s Turner Institute is one of Australia’s largest Institutes for brain and mental health thanks to the generosity of the late David Winston Turner, with the goal to respond to common community challenges to develop resilient brains and mental health and promote brain healthy lifestyles.
