Indigenous advancement
Monash University is advancing Indigenous inclusion and empowerment through curriculum integration, innovative STEM opportunities, and creative exploration for students:

- Dr Julia McCartan from the Department of Nutrition, Dietetics and Food, and the Indigenous Health Equity Education Committee, led by the Gukwonderuk Indigenous Health Unit, focus on integrating Indigenous health equity into the curriculum.
- Professor Chris Lawrence, Associate Dean Indigenous, leads initiatives to launch Indigenous engineering careers, including the National Indigenous Space Academy (NISA) for internships at NASA.
- NISA, supported by the Australian Government, enhances opportunities for Indigenous STEM students through internships at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab.
- The Koorie Experience Day at Monash Art, Design and Architecture provided Indigenous students with creative practice exploration and university pathways.
