What’s involved

IBL placements run twice a year, from March to June and August to November. Our partners can choose how many placements they want to offer and how often, all they need to provide is:

  • A fully tax-deductible education grant of $17,200 + GST that will support students to work in their organisation full-time for 16 weeks.
  • Rewarding work that gets students hands-on in real-world IT projects.
  • An IBL program coordinator and a supervisor to oversee your involvement and assign responsibilities to your placement students.
  • An OH&S compliant work environment on top of the insurance that Monash University provides to all IBL students.
  • Your time in virtual interviews to determine which students are suitable for placements in your organisation.
