The Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute together with the Faculty of Science hosted the 2023 Sprint program across three days in June and July. The Sprint Undergraduate Women's Development Program aims at enhancing the educational and professional futures of female students in STEM fields. The program, inspired by Oxford University research, provides skills training and confidence-building activities, facilitated by Monash alumni and industry professionals.

The Monash Nova Rover team took second place in the 2023 University Rover Challenge in Hanksville, Utah. The team showcased their engineering skills with a uniquely pink rover named Waratah, which they aimed to contribute to a broader discussion about women in STEM. Half of the Monash Nova Rover team's leadership was female in a predominantly male discipline.

The Department of Forensic Medicine received a $6.4 million funding package from the Department of Social Services to expand a pilot program to train frontline workers on responding to disclosures of adult sexual violence. This funding was part of the National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children 2022–2032 and aims to train healthcare professionals and community workers in trauma-informed care.

Monash Engineering launched a Women In Engineering mentoring program, pairing over 50 mentors with student mentees for a 12-week program. The initiative aims to empower women in engineering through shared experiences and guidance, enhancing gender equality and educational outcomes in the engineering field.

Monash Art, Design and Architecture (MADA) has introduced an internship program with XYX Lab for MADA students. Based around collaborative projects, the XYX Lab is an interdisciplinary team of design researchers exploring gender-sensitive design practices and theory. The team’s work operates at the intersection of gender, identity, urban space and advocacy. The XYX Lab internship is available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
