ICUR call for abstracts – now open!
The International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR) is calling for abstracts from undergraduate students to present at ICUR 2017, scheduled for 26–27 September.
The Monash Warwick Alliance’s prestigious flagship event, ICUR is an annual two-day undergraduate research conference that connects students via videoconferencing to their peers from institutions in the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Japan, South Africa, Malaysia and Australia. Since its establishment in 2013, over 1500 students have presented at ICUR.
ICUR is an interdisciplinary conference that challenges students to rethink their work in an international and interdisciplinary context. Presenting research in this forum is an excellent opportunity to showcase your work in a rigorous, yet supportive academic environment, and it looks fantastic on a CV. Many previous participants have found ICUR an invaluable stepping stone into postgraduate research or graduate vocational settings.
The Call for Abstracts is now open, and will close at 11.59pm on Saturday, 20 May 2017. Abstracts can be submitted on the ICUR website, which also contains numerous resources on abstract writing, conducting research and presenting at conferences.
If you would like further information on ICUR, please visit our website or contact the Academic Coordinator, Kate Aldred (kate.aldred@monash.edu).
