Monash remains in top 100 of latest THE rankings with industry engagement, international performance and citations up
Monash confirms its reputation as a high quality global university in the 2019 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, ranked at 84th.
In the results released today, Monash has shown strengthening research citations, industry income and international outlook. Increased citations demonstrate growing international research influence, while Monash’s commitment to building enterprising partnerships has seen industry income rise by an impressive 20 per cent. Our international outlook, measured by international staff, students and globally co-authored research papers, also sees Monash jump 21 places to the 88th position.
President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Margaret Gardner AO, said the latest THE rankings reflected Monash’s continuing high performance as an international research university, with a commitment to industry engagement.
“Our ambitious international outlook has also been recognised, reflecting the exciting opportunities we create for students, researchers and our partners worldwide to share in a global Monash community.”
Monash ranked in the 75 percentile of the five metrics that capture university performance including Teaching, Research, Citations, Industry Income and International Outlook.
