Allocate+ preference entry now open
6 July 2020
Dear student,
Allocate+ opened at 10am on Monday 6 July for you to submit your preferences for semester two 2020 classes.
Allocate+ preference entry will close at 10am AEST on Monday 13 July . The preference window is a little shorter than in previous semesters, but don’t worry, you won’t be disadvantaged. Online learning options and preferences aren’t considered on a first-come, first-served basis. You can enter preferences for all of your activities (tutorials, labs etc.) and select the lectures or seminars you want to attend for each of your semester two units. Find out more about how preferencing works.
Changes in semester two
In semester two you have the option of blended learning (a mix of both online and on-campus classes) or online only learning. Classes with a location on campus (e.g. CL_19Anc/386) can only be attended on campus and includes workshops and other activities. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and physical distancing, you must only attend your allocated on-campus classes. Online classes will have an online code or online only in their description.
If you’re unable to attend on-campus activities and there isn’t an online option, this semester, let us know. We’ll be in touch before your personal timetable is released on Tuesday 21 July.
What happens after preferencing?
After preferences are received and Allocate+ closes at 10am on Monday 13 July, you’ll be allocated to classes. The system will then reopen on Tuesday 21 July to allow you to make changes to your activities where possible. Check our timetable web page for more information about important Allocate+ dates.
