Science Student Ambassador Program
Applications for the 2024 Science Student Ambassador (SSA) program are now OPEN
Science Student Ambassadors play a key role in the promotion of the Faculty of Science programs and activities to both future and current students. They represent the Faculty at a variety of events including Open Day, information evenings and school visits. They can also represent the faculty through social media and marketing activities.
The Science Student Ambassador program creates opportunities for you to develop professional and personal skills; to network with fellow students and get involved with the Faculty of Science community.
You will receive training in a range of communications-based areas and will gain a variety of transportable skills that will enhance your resume. Participation in the program is an opportunity to develop workplace-relevant skills in marketing, communications and social media.
Science Student Ambassadors are employed as casual staff members. Successful completion of the program requires attendance at, and participation in, a minimum of 25 hours of events and activities. This is subject to the terms and conditions as outlined below.
