Exploring simulations and virtual learning spaces at Monash University

The Hub for Educational Design and Innovation (HEDI), led by Professor Michael Henderson and Dr Jo Blannin, facilitated a workshop at Monash University to explore the use of Virtual Reality (VR) and immersive technologies in education. The session involved 22 senior representatives from various university faculties and focused on the transformative potential of simulations and virtual spaces in learning.
Key outcomes included the identification of benefits such as real-time coaching, scenario-based learning, skill acquisition, and exploration of diversity and inclusion through VR. These discussions highlighted the importance of virtual learning environments in enhancing educational and research activities at Monash.
Monash University expands to Indonesia with new campus and programs

The campus offers Master's and PhD programs, contributing to Indonesia's development through partnerships with local industries. Scholarships are provided to support students financially. Monash University signs MoU with the European University Institute (EUI)

Monash University and the Monash University European Research Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the European University Institute (EUI) to enhance collaboration in education and research. This agreement, the first of its kind between the EUI and an Australian institution, will facilitate mobility and teaching opportunities for students and staff, curricular internships, and joint executive education and research initiatives.
The partnership aims to expand global educational and research opportunities, leveraging resources from the Monash University European Research Foundation and the Monash University Prato Centre.
