What to do with your electives

S2010 Bachelor of Applied Data Science - you can choose up to two free elective units for your course.

S3003 Bachelor of Applied Data Science Advanced (Honours) – you can choose up to two free elective units for stages 1-3 of your course. At stage 4 you complete two free electives at level 3 or higher towards your Honours year and these are selected in consultation with the course director.

You may choose free electives from:

• Part C Applied Studies of your course not already completed, to further develop your technical skills or extend your knowledge in your selected applied studies; or
• Across the University (including science) in which you are eligible to enrol. Refer to level one science units for science electives. Free electives can be identified in the current edition of the Handbook. The level of the unit is indicated by the first number in the unit code; undergraduate units are those that commence with the numbers 1-3. Refer to 'Electives with other faculties' under enrolling at Monash for the first time to find out how to enrol in elective units.
