Holding a reunion
We can support you through this process to create a memorable event and importantly revisit the people and places that made your time at Monash University unique.
Getting Started
As a starting point, please refer to this Monash University Alumni Reunions guide for key planning elements such as date/time and reunion format considerations.
We encourage you to establish a reunion organising committee consisting of about two to three members from your cohort.
Contacting Your Cohort
The Graduation Ceremonies Database on the publicly available Monash University Archives website is a valuable resource for finding a list of your cohort.
Lead Time
We recommend that you allow at least eight to ten weeks to plan, organise and finalise the details of your reunion.
Faculty Support
We can provide you with professional advice and guidance to make the process of organising your reunion easier.
We are able to assist you to communicate with your cohort about the reunion by:
- sending out reunion invitations on your behalf to alumni in your cohort
- posting upcoming event on our Faculty LinkedIn account
- publishing reunion details on this web page
- after that, you can then commence planning the end-to-end management of your reunion.
Your support
We request your support by encouraging alumni from your cohort to update their contact details on the Monash Alumni Portal to assist with future communications to your cohort.
The Portal can assist building networks and propel your career to the next stage.
We also encourage you to send reunion photos to us so we can share these more broadly with the alumni community through our channels.
