Orientation and transition
Orientation is the official start of semester and your studies in engineering. It provides the opportunity for you to discover more about your new learning environment meet other students and become a part of the Faculty of Engineering community at Monash. Orientation is designed to ease your transition into university life.
IMPORTANT: You need to attend only one of the workshop days. The Faculty will allocate you to a workshop group and notify you of your workshop group number via email to your Monash student account just before the start of Orientation Week.
Below is the engineering program. It includes the compulsory engineering workshops and welcome as well as optional workshops and activities run during Orientation Week.
The Faculty’s main welcome is being in the Robert Blackwood Hall on Wednesday, 27 February 2019 and commences at 9am sharp. You must arrive at the venue by 8.30am to be seated for the welcome.
