Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering
Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering
Diverse specialities supporting high-tech industry.
Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering (ECSE) is a diverse field. It encompasses biomedical, computer systems, electronics, electrical power, robotics and telecommunications. You could say it’s got it all. And at Monash ECSE, we focus on giving our graduates and our researchers the hands-on training, resources and theoretical insight they need to do it all.

Our research
Computational power increases every year. Electronics is key to many new product innovations and product improvements. Our researchers are developing innovative solutions to some of our greatest challenges.

Future students
ECSE at Monash gives you the skills you’ll need to succeed in this exciting and rapidly changing industry. Explore our courses. Meet some of our graduates and researchers. And find out where ECSE can take you.

Current students
Your course is your launch pad to an incredible future. With enrolment and course info, student resources, scholarship options and a range of student experiences – we’re here to help you make every moment count.

Monash Vision Group
Monash Vision Group (MVG) is a collaborative partnership between Monash University, Grey Innovation, MiniFAB and Alfred Health. See how we’re working to restore functional vision to people who have lost their sight through traumatic injury and acquired medical conditions.

Photonics
Photonics is the application of light (which is quantized into photons - packets of light) to solve scientific and engineering problems. Find out how we’re using photonics to increase the capacity of optical fibre communications systems, and in biomedical applications.
