Sustainability and Decarbonisation

Research in sustainability and decarbonisation focuses on achieving a circular economy in parts of our society previously generating waste. Examples include capturing CO21 and other greenhouse gas emissions, converting them to useful chemicals. This research area also focuses on recycling of waste materials such as plastics, or wastes generated from mining. All aspects of sustainability are investigated including technical solutions, and life cycle analysis, gas separation, functional food, and material composites.
