Take your engineering qualification to the next level with a Monash Engineering postgraduate program. We offer a range of postgraduate coursework programs, provided both on and off campus.
Why do postgraduate study?
Graduate study can be the foundation to a great career, it can turn an existing career into something brilliant, help you change careers, or aid in pursuing your passion.
Engineering coursework programs offer a balance of theory and practice, with an emphasis on industry-driven projects. Engineering programs, particularly at a Masters level, may include the option of a minor or major thesis component.
On-campus postgraduate programs
Our Master of Advanced Engineering (MAvdEng) program - the only kind in its field - ensures that students grow into transformational, global, and socially-responsible leaders and engineers. Created for engineers with ambition, this qualification will advance your skills and give you a clear and competitive edge. Choose from one- and two-year full-time, or two-year and four-year part-time programs, available 10 specialisations.
Off-campus postgraduate programs
We offer two postgraduate programs via off-campus learning, which means you can balance your work and study while attaining your engineering qualification with Monash University. Off-campus learning is based on a combination of online study material and online communication. Academic assistance with the materials can be obtained by email, telephone or online posting. Discussion groups and other forms of online communication are also available.
Programs are offered over three levels of study: Masters, Postgraduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate.
