Mahdieh started a fully funded industrial PhD project with the partnership of Paintback and BASF on July 2020. This project is supervised by Prof Akshat Tanksale and Prof. Mark Banaszak Holl. The aim of the project is to valorise waterborne paint waste by recovering valuable resources using a sustainable engineered process.
