Jess Woolley is an Assistant Lecturer with the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering.
Her current research is developing computer models of the brain to improve methods of using electricity to restore vision for people who are visually impaired.
She is also a member of ELECTRO, and is interested in how to teach practical problem finding and solving at scale.

A computational model of electrical stimulation in the visual cortex for bionic eyes
To create a model of the visual cortex with extracellular electrical stimulation which can be used to explore complex effects associated with extracellular electrical stimulation in order to support development of cortical visual protheses
