Before coming to Monash Uni, Ossie’s industry experience includes 37 years in Local and State Government with 15 years at Director Level. He last role in Local Government was 10 years as Director Infrastructure and Environment at the City of Monash with a portfolio that included Engineering, Sustainability, Waste Management, Parks Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Road Maintenance Strategic Asset Management, Project Management and Capital Works Delivery.

Ossie was also on the Board of Directors for IPWEA Victoria – Public Works Engineers and was President of the Board for 2 years.

Ossie has a passion for developing young engineers. His other interests include writing music, cycling and travelling.
