Occupational Health Services (OHS)

OHS ensures that staff health, wellbeing and safety are protected in the workplace. You or your staff may check out the OHS Policy and Procedure Bank or see an Occupational Health Nurse for any concerns or enquiries about upholding a healthy workplace for staff.

Being aware of University initiatives and values

Leading a healthy workplace requires alignment with and connecting to Monash's purpose, values and goals and ensuring ethics are embedded in to your every day actions.

Monash THRIVE and THRIVE surveys

Monash THRIVE is a university-wide initiative led by the Turner Institute of Brain and Mental Health. Its focus is on developing evidence-based digital resources to promote the mental health and wellbeing of the Monash community. See all of their current initiatives here.

From 2020 to 2022, they developed surveys to check in with staff about their mental health, coping and concerns. To view more of the findings, visit the Staff THRIVE Data page.

Health and Wellbeing Strategy

The Health and Wellbeing Strategy outlines the commitment, vision and initiatives led at Monash to safeguard and promote the health and wellbeing of staff.  It makes up the foundations of this staff e-portal.
