In recognition of its ground breaking work to make lithium extraction cleaner, faster and more sustainable, ElectraLith has been named in The Australian’s "The List: Top 100 Innovators for 2025."

Spun out of research from the Monash University Research Hub, ElectraLith replaces traditional evaporation ponds with a novel membrane and low-voltage electrical process that drastically reduces water and energy use.
In May 2025, Electralith was named a Top Innovator by the World Economic Forum. Based in the Monash Innovation Labs, the company is preparing for pilot deployment at Rio Tinto’s Rincón project in Argentina in 2026.
