ElectraLith CEO named in Victoria’s Top 20 Tech Start-ups

Charlie McGill, CEO of ElectraLith, has been recognised in the Top 20 Victorian Tech Start-ups, unveiled by the Herald Sun this week.

The list spotlights Victoria’s fastest-scaling and most innovative companies across AI, healthtech, fintech, advanced manufacturing and clean energy - a cohort collectively worth billions and reinforcing Melbourne’s reputation as a global innovation hub.

A spin-out of Monash University and Monash Engineering, ElectraLith operates out of state-of-the-art facilities at Monash Innovation Labs. There, the team is advancing next-generation Direct Lithium Extraction and Refining (DLE-R) technology, positioning Australia at the forefront of sustainable lithium production and enabling cleaner, more efficient pathways to critical minerals supply.
