Aseni is a final-year PhD candidate in the Automation & Sustainability in Construction and Intelligent Infrastructure Lab within the Civil Engineering Department at Monash University. She is working under the guidance of Associate Professor Mehrdad Arashpour. Aseni completed her Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. Her research focuses on harnessing the power of computer vision to revolutionize construction waste management.
