Dr. Elahe Abdi
Elahe Abdi joined the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Monash University in November 2017. She received the B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tehran and the M.Sc. degree in Biomechanical Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2009 and 2012 respectively and the Ph.D. degree in Robotics from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland in 2017 where she was a researcher from February to September 2017.
Her research interests are in the domain of medical and surgical robotics, human-robot interaction, design of human-machine interface, haptics, control, behavioural studies, application of robotics in neuroscience and soft tissue modelling.
