Dr. Fuad is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) of Monash University at Clayton campus, Melbourne, Australia. He is also a postgraduate researcher of the Public Transport Research Group (PTRG) of Monash Institute of Transport Studies (Monash ITS). His current research work is focused in understanding the transport benefits of autonomous vehicles for CBD commuters. Before joining Monash University, he worked as a faculty member of the Department of Civil Engineering at East West University and Military Institute of Science and Technology in Bangladesh for several years. Fuad also worked as a professional transport consultant in England where he worked with several government councils and private sectors on various projects. Besides his current project, Fuad’s research interest lies in the broad sector of travel behaviour, transport planning and policy, sustainable transport and urban transportation.

Fuad is an entusiastic researcher and collaborator with good communication, problem-solving and organisational skills. He is open to new research ideas which is of greater benefit to the society. Fuad loves reading novels, playing football, badminton and enjoys natural scerenity at his leisure time.
