Mr. Jun Kikuchi
Jun Kikuchi is a dedicated researcher currently pursuing a PhD under the guidance of Associate Professor Reza Nosrati. With a strong academic foundation, Jun completed a double degree in Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Science at Monash University. During their undergraduate studies, they actively participated in two student teams, Monash Forge and Robogals Monash, where they focused on education and operations.
Currently, Jun’s research is centered on the innovative application of deep learning techniques for single sperm cell analysis. Their research seeks to enhance knowledge and techniques in this specialised area, driving forward important advancements in biomedical science and engineering.
In addition to their research, Jun has extensive teaching experience. They have tutored mathematics for five years and served as a teaching associate for ENG1011 Engineering Methods and ENG1051 Materials for Energy and Sustainability. Currently, they are an assistant lecturer for ENG1011.
