Master of Professional Engineering
This two year degree provides students who already have an engineering degree the opportunity to gain entry to the profession. You will build on your undergraduate experience by choosing from five engineering specialisations and deepen your knowledge through core units and advanced level technical units in your chosen area. In preparation to be a professional engineer, you explore the contemporary and complex global issues affecting organisations. You also learn to perform data analysis on industrial scenarios and make recommendations that support business growth. Outside the classroom, you complete the equivalent of 12 weeks Continuous Professional Development. The course has been designed to meet the Stage 1 competencies for accreditation by Engineers Australia (EA). The Faculty has commenced the accreditation process for full recognition by EA and currently has provisional accreditation.
