Special arrangements
You’re required to sit your assessments at the time and location scheduled in Allocate+, but in some circumstances you can apply for special arrangements to adjust your assessment start time or location.
If you’re registered with Disability Support Services, you should discuss alternative assessment arrangements with your Disability Adviser.
If you’re registered with Monash’s Elite Student Performer Support Program please email teammonash-talentsupport@monash.edu to discuss adjustments to your assessment timetable.
On-campus eExams must be taken in person
You must attend your on-campus eExam in person, unless you’re participating in a Monash-facilitated program (e.g. GIG and Monash Global Campus Intensives) or mandatory military service at the time your eExam is scheduled.
You won’t be able to sit your on-campus eExam remotely if you’re away on holiday or travelling, so plan ahead and avoid leaving for a trip until the end of the final assessment period (which is 21 June for semester one).
Eligibility
You can apply for special arrangements if:
- you don’t have an appropriate home environment to sit your off-campus eExam
- you’re in an unsuitable time zone to sit your off-campus eExam, or
- you’re unable to attend your on-campus eExam because you’re participating in:
- a Monash-facilitated program overseas at the time of your scheduled final assessment (e.g. GIG, Monash Global Campus Intensives), or
- mandatory military service at the time of your scheduled final assessment.
You’re not eligible for special arrangements if you're travelling or on holidays, so don’t plan any trips during your assessment period.
You’re not eligible for special arrangements if you have an illness (including COVID-19). However, you may be eligible to defer your assessment through special consideration. You’ll need to provide the required supporting documentation for special consideration.
- Summer, October and November:
