Next steps

If you have any questions or concerns after your health check, here are your next steps.

Book a GP (doctor’s) appointment

General Practitioners (GPs) can help you understand your results and provide medical advice. If you have any concerns about any of your results, this is the best place to start.

GPs are available on campus at the University Health Services (UHS) at Clayton, Caulfield and Peninsula campuses. You can make appointments online, in person at the UHS clinics or over the phone.

You can also find a GP near you on healthdirect.

Consult a dietitian

Dietitians can provide personalised advice to improve your diet and overall health. They offer advice on a range of nutrition issues including diabetes risk, general healthy eating, weight loss, blood pressure management, and more.

You can book an appointment with a dietitian on campus at Clayton by phone on 9905 3175.

To find a dietitian near you, use the Dietitians Australia website.

Join Monash Sport

Access fitness programs and facilities on campus at Clayton, Caulfield and Peninsula to help you stay active and healthy. Find out what’s available at Monash Sport, as well as how to join, including the three-day free trial pass available for new customers.

Access mental health support

If stress is an issue for you, it may be helpful to make an appointment with a doctor or counsellor. On our website you can also find resources for managing stress and mental wellbeing.

Free counselling is available for Monash University students on campus through Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS). Appointments are available in person or via Telehealth at Clayton, Caulfield, Peninsula and Parkville campuses. To book, call 9905 3020.
