Your M-Pass account

You should store only the amount of credit you need since refunds incur an administration fee.

Monash Study app

If you’re a Monash University student studying at an Australian campus, top up your M-Pass (and view your balance) in the Monash Study app (Monash College students won’t be able to top up in the app):

1. Go to the Profile screen.
2. Tap M-Pass.
3. Tap Top up M-Pass and follow the payment process.

You can pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or a credit/debit card.

If you don’t see your updated balance within 24 hours, or if you see an error message, submit the feedback form. Make sure you include your transaction ID if you think you’ve been charged incorrectly (you can find it by tapping on the error message).

M-Pass account

If you can't use the Monash Study app, you can top up your M-Pass and view your balance in your M-Pass account:

1. Sign into your M-Pass account.
2. View your balance under Account Balance.
3. Click Add Money to top up.

Allow a family member to add credit to your M-Pass (sponsor deposit)

Family members can add credit to your M-Pass account – they will just need to provide their debit/credit card details and your:

• family name (surname)
• Student ID number (this is on the front of your M-Pass card).

To make a sponsor deposit, go to the M-Pass account login page, click Make a Sponsor Deposit and follow the prompts.
