MoVA AI (beta)

In July 2026, we released a new version of MoVA in the Monash Study app for Australia-based students (iOS only). The new version (currently in beta) uses AI to generate answers using approved Monash University information sources, such as our Monash student websites.

Accuracy

Although MoVA AI has access to the most up-to-date information, it may still make mistakes. Before making important decisions (especially to do with enrolments, fees or deadlines), always refer to the official information sources provided.

Privacy information

To help MoVA AI provide the best possible answers, we retrieve data from your student record, such as your current enrolment status and whether you're an international student. This means that MoVA can provide answers that are specific to you.

Rest assured though, we take your privacy very seriously. Information and data you provide, or that we retrieve from your student record, is not collected or used by third parties for training. Even so, you should never type personal details into MoVA AI that could uniquely identify you (such as your name, address or phone number).
