Embark on the Leap into Leadership Online journey – a collection of free, engaging modules designed to enhance your employability and leadership skills. You can complete as many modules as you like during any stage of your studies.

Each module takes about 30 minutes to complete, with no formal assessments to hand in.

All modules are offered in Moodle, where you'll find all the instructions. Topics include:

• leadership for social change
• high-performing teams
• connecting across cultures
• committee membership and management.

Through these modules, you’ll:

• develop a deep understanding of leadership using the Social Change Model of Leadership Development
• gain insights and skills to lead committees or university clubs successfully
• uncover the strategies behind high-performing teams and apply them to your endeavours
• enhance your intercultural competence with a global perspective.

All current students at Monash can access the modules.

1. Choose a topic and get started. Whether it's a subject you know nothing about and want to improve, or a skill set an employer has identified in a job ad, there are plenty of choices – and they're all free.
2. Work your way through it, at your own pace. Watch videos and complete quizzes in Moodle to progress to the next section. Make sure you read the Welcome and Module instructions before you start.
3. Submit your answers to complete the module. Once you've submitted your answers, your responses will be reviewed. If you've completed all questions to a satisfactory standard, you'll receive an email confirming that you've completed the module.
4. Apply your new skills to your studies, work, volunteering and extracurricular activities. Log into Student Futures to record and reflect on what you've learnt. Many modules offer downloadable resources to use in the real world, and you can use these to help explain your skills to future employers.
