Free food for students @ all campuses

Days and times vary

To make everyday campus life a little more affordable, Monash students at any Australian campus (including Monash College) can now access $50 on a prepaid student card to spend on food, drinks and essentials at participating retailers. You don’t need to apply – just follow the instructions in the email sent to your Monash student account.

Free hot soup will be available throughout swotvac at Clayton, Caulfield, Parkville and Peninsula. Stop by on weekdays in the early afternoon and early evening for something warm and nourishing. Free soup will continue at Clayton during exams (8–25 June). Drop in on weekdays from 12–2pm – students from all campuses and locations are welcome. No registration needed.

University Basketball League Tryouts

Ready to represent Monash on the national stage? Join Monash University for our inaugural University Basketball League (UBL) season.

Our Men’s and Women’s Monash teams will compete for the very first time – bringing together experienced athletes ready to perform at the highest university level.

The 2026 season features an 8-week home and away competition from August – October, including interstate travel, before finals.

MGA's After Exams Party

Focused Study Sessions @ Clayton

Weekly on Fridays (until 5 Jun), 3–4pm

Don’t study alone! Come along to a Focused Study Session and turn I’ll do it later into Done. It’s a dedicated time for silent, parallel working that makes even the toughest tasks feel more manageable. No need to book – just drop in and grab a seat!

To unlock peak productivity, stay for the full session – and stick around at the end to get expert tips on your assessments from a Student Academic Success Learning Adviser.

MGA Soccer @ Clayton

Join us for a casual kick-around, skill-building drills, and friendly matches designed to help you stay active, relieve stress, and connect with others in the graduate student community.

Time to move, stretch and get the blood flowing at our free weekly yoga sessions for graduate students. Classes are suitable for those who are new to yoga and those who want to expand their practice.

Bring your yoga mat, a towel, water bottle and wear appropriate yoga/workout clothes.

Bookings are essential as capacity is limited.

MGA Squash @ Clayton

Ready to give squash a shot? Join our weekly squash games on Wednesday nights. Whether you've never picked up a racquet or you're keen to try something new, this is your chance to step on court and get a taste of the game.

Bring your own racquets! Limited racquets and squash balls are provided, but it will be on a first-come, first-served basis. All levels of players are welcome.
