Visualise Your Thesis International (VYT) was developed in 2015 by The University of Melbourne. The competition calls for participants to create an engaging 60-second audio-visual representation of their thesis and the potential benefits of their research. Using a pre-supplied template, content must be appropriate for a general audience.

Among seven finalists across Monash University, second year PhD candidate Pasindu Perera represented Monash Engineering with his video “3D Printing Personalised Nutrition”.

In a highly competitive field, Pasindu was awarded third place this week following Aileen Ng of Monash Art, Design and Architecture (MADA),(second place); and Dr M Tasdik Hasan of Information Technology (first place).

Monash Engineering and Monash Materials Science and Engineering warmly congratulates Pasindu for his inspired work, and wishes him well with his continued endeavours.
