Guidelines for submitting your example
Here are some basic guidelines to help you in completing your submission.
Writing voice
When you are answering the questions, we ask that you use the Monash writing voice for web content.
- Write in a personal and informal tone - be conversational.
- Use the first person (I, me, my, mine, myself, we, our, ours, ourselves).
- Write for those outside your discipline.
- Write in short, sharp, active sentences and keep to one idea per sentence.
- Use simple language and avoid acronyms.
Sharing images and documents
To provide a rich and visually dynamic exemplar, we may request imagery and multimedia elements to support your example.
Once you have submitted your form, we will create a dedicated Google Drive folder for your example where you will have the opportunity to to upload and share your photos, videos or documents.
Video interview guidelines
For some examples, we may request a video interview to showcase on your page. This will provide others with a bit more context around your story and how the example you are sharing came about and evolved.
More specific guidelines about the video interview will be communicated with you via email once we have received all the relevant information.
