Non-standard Moodle units

This allows you to determine which dates are important for your students, and manually enter the information.

The Project Template schedule has three columns:

• Column 1 shows your chosen date or topic for that schedule section.
• Column 2 is for assessment tasks associated with that schedule section.
• Column 3 is for other items associated with that schedule section.

This example features two schedule sections, one labelled with a name, and one with a date.

Adding items to the schedule

1. Ensure editing is turned on.
2. Edit your schedule title by clicking on the title, typing your chosen title and hitting enter.

   

3. Click the three dots next to the schedule and select Edit settings.

   

4. For each schedule section:
   • 1. Enter a date or a topic.
   • 2. Items that you wish to appear in the Assessment Tasks column should be entered in the Schedule Assessment/Task box.

     Note: This is a rich text box, and you can add links. Multiple items for the same date or topic can be added on separate lines.

   • 3. Items you wish to appear in the Additional Information/Tasks column should be entered in the Schedule Additional Information/Tasks box.

   

5. You can add or remove additional schedule sections for other dates or topics using the Remove and Add 1 field(s) to form buttons below the text boxes.

   

6. When you have added all of your schedule sections and items, click Save and return to Unit.
7. Your schedule will now display like this:
