Methods: De/Re-Mystifying Design Workshops
Join us for an ETLab Methods panel discussion on De/Re-Mystifying Design Workshops with Melisa Duque, Dion Tuckwell, Chuan Khoo, and Ilya Fridman. Each speaker will present a design workshop they have developed and organised, introducing design workshops to the lab, particularly for those new to the concept.
Together, we will explore how participants and non-designers perceive these workshops, collectively re-mystifying design practices in interdisciplinary ways.
Other key questions for discussion include:
* How do we (all of us) make sense of things?
* How does design’s focus on ‘outcomes’ shape engagement?
* Where do design workshops open windows for co-engagement?
We welcome all ETLab members to join the conversation and reflect on the role of design workshops in interdisciplinary research.
