Announcing new RACE team members at the ETLab
We welcome Project Manager Gabrielle Hughes and Project Officer Katrina Hughes to the Scenarios for Future Living (SFL) project as part of the RACE (Reliable Affordable Clean Energy) for 2030 Cooperative Research Centre.
Gabrielle Hughes joins us as Project Manager for the Scenarios for Future Living project, RACE2030 CRC, and will also serve as Project Manager at the Monash Energy Institute in a part-time capacity. Gabrielle brings a decade of experience in project management and senior leadership within the non-profit sector, where she led strategic engagement with stakeholders across community, state, federal, and industry levels. With her background in managing large teams dedicated to community empowerment, Gabrielle is eager to leverage her expertise to support initiatives driving a clean energy future.
Katrina Lee assumes the role of Project Officer for the Scenarios for Future Living project, RACE2030 CRC, and Project Officer at the Monash Energy Institute in a part-time capacity. With over 30 years of administrative experience in the tertiary and education sectors, Katrina has held roles such as Web Content Manager in Monash University’s Careers area and Content and Acquisitions Manager for myfuture (The National Career Information Service) with Education Services Australia, where she managed projects and led a small team.
Scenarios for Future Living (SFL) is a collaborative project across 4 research partners (Monash, UNSW, UTS and CSIRO) and key industry partners (Ausgrid; Citipower, Powercor, and United Energy; Red Energy; NSW DCCEEW; and VIC DEECA). SFL will enhance decision-making within the Australian energy sector by integrating qualitative research findings on social trends, consumer expectations, and emerging technologies into scenario-based energy modeling and forecasting.
