Official opening: City Sensing Data Futures report

The Monash University Emerging Technologies Research Lab and City of Melbourne invite you to the launch of the City Sensing Data Futures report - a collaborative research project that outlines and demonstrates an ethics-based approach to the capture and use of real-time city data in public spaces, which is inclusive and respects the core organisational and public values of: trust, privacy, transparency, open communication and care.

At this launch we will discuss the key findings of the report and present examples of how those findings could be implemented in effective public realm communications.

This event is presented by Monash University’s Emerging Technology Research Lab (ETLab) and supported by City of Melbourne’s Emerging Technology Testbed. The event will be opened by Professor Shane Murray, Dean of Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Monash University.
