New visitor: Albina Absalova, University of Amsterdam
PhD candidate form the University of Amsterdam, Albina Abzalova, joins the ETLab for a month.
Albina is an interdisciplinary scholar with a strong academic background in Political Science and Digital Transformation. Currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Amsterdam, she contributes to the "AI-Health" project, researching human-AI collaboration in public health. Her academic journey includes a Master’s in Politics and Governance in the Digital Age from the University of Tartu and a semester at the University Institute of Lisbon.
Albina possesses strong soft skills, a solid understanding of behavioral psychology, and experience in building partnerships across various sectors. Albina has conducted interviews with politicians, healthcare professionals, representatives of think tanks, NGOs, refugees, and advocates. Her research includes work in Estonian hospitals, dialysis centers in the United Arab Emirates, and refugee communities, alongside studies on national identity and cybersecurity.
Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, she is skilled in R, Python, SQL, and Google BigQuery. Fluent in English and Russian, Albina excels in intercultural communication and has participated in multiple Erasmus+ programs focused on conflict resolution and human rights. Her professional experience spans roles from university research assistant to art therapy facilitator, consistently reflecting her passion for social impact, critical thinking, and collaborative learning.
