Helicobacter pylori (Hp) is a prototype of a cancer-inducing pathogen. This bacterium colonises persistently in the human stomach, causing chronic gastritis and gastric cancer in susceptible individuals. The molecular basis of how Helicobacter infection progresses into cancers however remains largely a mystery, one our lab wants to uncover.
We are committed to excellence in research.
We're always interested in collaborating with bright and motivated researchers, clinicians and industry. Whether you want to research, study or partner with us to accelerate our discoveries, find out about the work we do.
