Academic penalties may apply to some teaching periods

The teaching weeks' end date is the last day to withdraw from units

The University will not backdate your changes to avoid payment or academic penalties unless we have made a proven error.

How to withdraw from a unit

  1. Log into the Unit Enrolment section of WES to view a summary page of your current unit enrolment.
  2. Remove your unit/s with the buttons in the Action column next to the unit code.
  3. Save your changes by clicking SUBMIT ENROLMENT.

Changing your study load from full-time to part-time could affect your Centrelink payments.

International students

If you're on a student visa then you’ll have study load requirements to maintain. Changing your study load may require you to update your:

  • student visa
  • Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
  • Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
